Good restaurant with great potential. I was super excited that this opened since I always went to the one in Flushing. My experience at this Plainview location was decent, but there was room for improvement for sure. The service was pretty good, but they couldn't do any substitutions, so that was a little odd. Originally, I wanted to order a combo, but since they ran out of buns and couldn't sub anything, no combo. I ended up going with the half and half tradional wings and a side of fries. The spicy wings were pretty spicy. The soy garlic were my favorite. The fries were nice and crunchy, and the parmesan on them added a great flavor. What needs improvement is the stock. They ran out of a few things that night, and from what other patrons told me, that was common. This is so close to home that I'll be back again. The food really was good.

Everything we ordered was amazing - from drinks to appetizers to food. There's a parking lot in front of the building. Their nonalcoholic lemonade was a hit with the kids. The chicken was amazing - we got the regular crispy breast strips and the spicy soy boneless breasts. Everything was great especially with the spicy stir fried gizzard. They have menu item desserts but also mini melts which you can get but it's $5 cash only.

Tires is a nice Korean Fried Chicken place. They also have several Korean Snack foods as well. Like Dumplings , fried rice , and Budae Jigae. Clean facilities. Reasonably priced. Nice staff. Card payment’s are accepted. We will definitely be going back

I had a great experience with the chicken wings. Each wing was perfectly crisp and flavorful. I chose the level 2 spice sauce, which had just the right amount of heat without overpowering the taste. By the time I finished the last wing, I was full and completely satisfied. The price was more than fair for the quality and portion size. The only minor downside was the Cajun fries. They were cooked well, but the seasoning lacked the punch and depth I was hoping for. A bit more boldness in flavor could have made them match the wings’ power.

I ordered some chickens and sides last Sunday. Food was good except the sweet potato fries that was overcooked. The original extra crispy chicken was 5/5. It was good with mild Sweet and spicy sauce on the side. The soy garlic wings was 3.5/5. It is because wings were too small. The chicken thighs was 4/5. I didn't like that chicken thighs were chopped in small pieces. Also, extra crispy breading would've been better than the original breading. French fries 5/5, mochi cheese donuts 5/5, Onion rings 5/5, Sweet potato fries 2/5. Overall, I would definitely reorder from the Pelicana, Plainview for sure. Hope they do better on Sweet potatoes fries next time.

At no time did we feel rushed or bothered by the staff, they were very kind, respectful and helpful in every way! I would definitely recommend this place! If you are in the area don’t think about stopping in, just Do It! You won’t regret it. Good portions, amazing flavor and you will not regret getting anything on the menu! 5 stars all around!

Really enjoy the Korean fried chicken here. The chicken is crispy and flavorful without being too greasy, and the sauces are spot on. The sides are fresh, and there’s a good mix of flavors and spice levels to try. The place has a casual, easygoing vibe which is perfect for a quick bite or a relaxed night out. Service is friendly, though it can get busy sometimes, but the food makes it worth it.
